Motorola's rarely discounted Moto G (2026) has somehow gotten a rare price cut

Motorola may have released a bunch of Android phones in 2026, but most of them rarely go on sale. The Moto G (2026) is no exception: so far, we've only seen this model on sale once. That's exactly what makes Amazon's current promo worth a look.

Although this isn't the best discount Amazon has ever offered, it's still the best price cut you can get at the time of writing. The Moto G (2026) doesn't exactly stand out as the most powerful budget phone you can get. However, it does come with a 6.7-inch display that gives you pretty decent visuals for the price, while the 120Hz refresh rate makes scrolling feel smooth and responsive.

Under the hood, the model comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip. That's basically the same SoC Motorola used in the Moto G (2025), so you can't really expect a flawless experience.

As we've emphasized in our Moto G (2026) review, the device can't really handle heavy multitasking. Even some daily tasks may cause the UI to feel a bit sluggish. That's to say, if you're a power user, this budget-friendly phone may not be the perfect fit. 

Bottom line: Motorola's budget Moto G (2026) may not be the best sub-$300 Android phone, but it still checks enough boxes for the price to make it a worthwhile choice. Plus, now that it's sporting a rare 10% discount at Amazon, it can be even harder to resist.
