Unlocked LG Stylo 4 scores $140 discount in early Amazon Prime Day deal
While the brand-new LG Stylo 5 is obviously a little better than its predecessor, the Stylo 4 can be purchased from many more carriers and major US retailers at incredibly reasonable prices with extremely respectable specifications in tow.

Best Buy currently offers without a doubt the best deal on the 2018-released mid-ranger, but in order to shave the full 200 bucks off the pen-wielding handset's $300 price tag, you need to activate the LG Stylo 4 upfront on a new Sprint account or new line of service at the nation's fourth-largest mobile network operator. If you don't want to go through all that hassle, you can also save quite a bit of money by getting an unlocked variant with absolutely no strings attached on Amazon.

Technically, the deal does have one string attached, but instead of having to commit to a specific carrier right off the bat, you simply need an Amazon Prime subscription to score $90 on top of a routine $50 discount for a grand total of 140 bucks in savings. If you're not a Prime member yet, this is probably the perfect time to join the club, as a million+ killer deals on pretty much everything that Amazon sells are right around the corner.
The Prime Exclusive variant of the LG Stylo 4 is essentially identical to the standard model, merely including a pre-installed selection of Amazon apps on top of a refined Android 8.1 Oreo interface designed to take advantage of this phone's built-in pen in a number of neat ways. It's worth pointing out that the Stylo 4 and the Stylo 5 that's only available at Cricket Wireless and Boost Mobile for the time being share a 6.2-inch screen with 2160 x 1080 resolution and reasonably thin bezels, as well as 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.

The LG Stylo 4 also packs a decent 3,300mAh battery, modest Snapdragon 450 processor, and largely unimpressive 13MP solo rear-facing camera. But at this unbelievably low price point, you can't possibly expect to be impressed by every single feature.
