Leaked photos show several components belonging to the Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+
Yesterday, we showed you images of the batteries that will allegedly be deployed inside the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Samsung Galaxy S9+. Those images came from tipster Roland Quandt, who today disseminated some more tweets containing pictures of other Galaxy S9/Galaxy S9+ components. For example, one of the images shows the fingerprint scanner (notice the new shape?) while another reveals the lone camera earmarked for the back of the 2018 flagship model.

Another picture shared by Quandt shows off the USB-C board for the Samsung Galaxy S9+. Both models will be unveiled on February 25th, at the Samsung Unpacked event in Barcelona. That is the day before the 2018 MWC trade show is scheduled to begin. We could see Sammy's 2018 flagships launched on March 16th, if the date listed on previously released renders mean anything.

Another image that we showed you last month revealed that both models will sport a different layout in the back this year. Instead of having the fingerprint scanner next to the rear camera like it was with the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, this year the scanner will be found underneath the camera module. That could make it harder for those users blindly looking for the fingerprint scanner, to smudge the glass camera lens.

I like Samsung but I honestly think the S9 will be a flop. It's claimed in a new leak that it will cost £100 more than the S8, which would be just crazy. That would make it £789. You can buy the S8 now for just £500, so the difference just can't be justified.

Samsung copies as much as Apple. I dont understand why only Apple is bashed. Nothing on S8 was new...

Because Samsung was doing what others were doing while they were doing it. Apple tried to hold out for years Compare the S6 edge to the iPhone X. What does the iPhone do that the S6 edge didn't? Nothing. But the S6 edge was $750 new while the iPhone X with similar text is $999? They are being bashed foe being years behind, coming to the game later and offering nothing new and cutting more money than we paid when it was brand new.

From the press photos, it looks like the curved edge is not as pronounced as the s8 which is a good thing cuz they realize how gimmicky it's been. Less glare, normal looking screen instead of narrow looking, less intentional touches are positives.
