If you hurry, you can get a half-off Google Chromecast Ultra
After recently killing off the 2015-released Chromecast Audio (which should have probably happened a long time ago), Google still has a "standard" Chromecast and a higher-end Chromecast Ultra around to challenge Amazon's extensive Fire TV lineup. But after launching a 4K-enabled Fire TV Stick with an Alexa voice remote included at an insanely low price of $50 a few months ago, Amazon made it pretty much impossible for the $69 Chromecast Ultra to stand out.

Fortunately, Google's pint-sized, puck-shaped, 4K and HDR-capable digital media player is on sale for a very competitive price right now, although you may need to hurry to score the sweet 50 percent discount available on Facebook Marketplace. Don't worry, the seller is a highly trusted and reliable one, offering brand-new Chromecast Ultra units at $34.99 a pop in standard retail packaging, with a full one-year warranty included, as well as all the usual accessories you'd get directly from Google or authorized third-party retailers.

Interestingly, Daily Steals is not currently running this sale on its own website too, which suggests inventory might be limited. Outside of bundle deals allowing bargain hunters to maximize their savings by purchasing the streaming device together with other Google products, we don't remember seeing the Chromecast Ultra discounted so drastically of late.

With the Google I/O 2019 conference right around the corner, you may be thinking a sequel is overdue, but apart from voice assistance, there's not a lot that could be added to an already feature-packed streamer. This 2016-released bad boy can play 4K Ultra HD video on any compatible TV equipped with a standard HDMI port, supporting everything from Android handsets to iPhones, iPads, and PCs for easy controls. You also get High Dynamic Range (HDR) capabilities guaranteeing a stunning picture quality... with supported apps and platforms.
