Amazon sweetens Fitbit Versa Lite deal with free $20 gift card
Fitbit didn't exactly strike gold with its first-ever full-fledged smartwatch back in 2017, but 2018's cheaper and arguably prettier Versa was an instant hit, helping the company return to profitability (sort of) while also considerably boosting its US presence.

Unfortunately, the even cheaper Fitbit Versa Lite Edition wasn't able to keep the brand ahead of Samsung in global smartwatch shipments, which is why an actual sequel to the original Versa with important battery life improvements and built-in Alexa assistance is apparently gearing up for a commercial debut. Obviously, that means a price hike could be in the pipeline as well, making the first-gen Versa and Versa Lite still feel rather compelling at a cool $30 discount via their manufacturer's official US e-store.

Although Amazon is currently selling the slightly lower-end variant at the same reduced price, you can also get a nice bonus with your new Fitbit Versa Lite from the e-commerce giant. Namely, a $20 gift card. Naturally, we're not talking about an actual piece of paper, but rather a code that will be delivered by email to all eligible buyers for redemption on Amazon until October 8.
You don't have to do any heavy lifting or meet any sort of special requirements to receive the e-coupon, but keep in mind certain restrictions will apply to this neat little freebie. For instance, the gift card cannot be used towards the purchase of products sold by third-party sellers or "other Amazon entities", even if said items are listed as "Prime eligible" or "fulfilled by Amazon.com."

As far as the smartwatch itself is concerned, you should know you can choose from five different color combos at the same discount while getting pretty much all the lifestyle and health tracking basics. We're talking notifications from both Android handsets and iPhones on a large color LCD panel, 24/7 heart rate monitoring, information on sleep quality, 4-day battery life, connected GPS functionality, and water resistance up to 50 meters.
