Amazon majorly discounts every single Apple Watch Series 12 variant for the first time

The big day has arrived for Prime members interested in buying the best phones, tablets, smartwatches, and headphones at the lowest possible prices this holiday season without waiting until Thanksgiving or Christmas, but as always, Amazon is massively discounting a number of popular products for everyone in addition to all the actual Prime Day fall deals.

That means that you don't need an Amazon Prime membership to slash, for instance, a nice 50 bucks off the regular price of your favorite Apple Watch Series 12 model. That's obviously Apple's latest (and greatest) "mainstream" high-end smartwatch, and because it only saw daylight a few weeks ago, its greatest discount prior to today stood at a measly $10.

The Garmin Vivoactive 5 is compatible with both iPhones and Android handsets, and for a presumably limited time only, it's available at a crazy low price.

You don't need a Prime membership or anything else to take advantage of Amazon's first great Apple Watch Series 12 deal, which slashes $50 off the regular prices of the new high-end timepiece with and without cellular connectivity. This is undoubtedly the best (non-rugged) smartwatch an iPhone user can buy right now, with stellar health monitoring capabilities, solid battery life, and a lot of very helpful wellness tools and features in tow.

A $50 price cut is of course not life-changing either, but it can make a world of difference especially for a GPS-only 42mm variant that normally costs $399. Buyers with larger wrists can spend $50 under a list price of $449 for a 46mm model sans cellular connectivity, while 4G LTE and 5G-equipped units are marked down by 50 bucks from regular prices of $499 and $549 in small and large sizes, respectively.

If you hurry, you can choose your favorite case and band color too, mind you, and if you're hoping to see this first-of-a-kind Amazon deal improved anytime soon, you're probably way too optimistic.

Now, is the Apple Watch Series 12 worth your money? That's a tricky question to answer, especially if you can still find the Apple Watch Series 11 at a heftier discount... somewhere, but although the design hasn't been changed much, the battery life and health monitoring are significantly better on the newer generation.

Naturally, you should get the Apple Watch Ultra 4 if you can afford it (and if you dig outdoor-friendly timepieces with bulkier designs), but otherwise, the Series 12 can be a very smart buy right now for both Prime members and non-members looking to cross a key item off their holiday shopping lists well ahead of time.
