Even though it's more than a year old at this point and technically discontinued on the heels of its sequel's announcement a couple of weeks ago, the Apple Watch Series 11 might still be the best smartwatch for a lot of iPhone users. Specifically, those iPhone users who can't afford the Apple Watch Ultra 4 and who don't want to overspend on the Apple Watch Series 12.

Granted, the Series 12 is better than its predecessor in a number of key ways, doubling the RAM count, packing a brand-new processor, improving the heart rate monitoring accuracy, and stepping things up in terms of durability as well, but I'm not sure these upgrades are worth a $150 premium.

If you're an Android phone user looking for a smartwatch that's a lot like the Apple Watch Series 11, last year's Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 can be an excellent choice at this hefty new discount.

The same version of the newer, more powerful, durable, and sophisticated Apple Watch Series 12 is only discounted by $10, which is obviously not the same thing as a $150 price cut but it's still better than nothing for iPhone users who must absolutely own the latest and greatest products out there.

If you agree with me or at least you're willing to consider all your options to spend as little as possible for the best wearable device available right now, you may want to take a look at Woot's latest Apple Watch Series 11 deal. This lets you get a cellular-enabled 42mm unit for only $349 in brand-new, unused, unopened, and undamaged condition, which represents a savings of, you guessed it, 150 bucks over the product's original list price.

$499 is also how much a small Apple Watch Series 12 with standalone 5G connectivity typically costs, and although Amazon is already slashing $10 off that regular price, Woot's Series 11 discount is obviously an entirely different affair.

Now, normally, I'd probably advise you to wait until Black Friday and Cyber Monday in a couple of months or at least Amazon's second Prime Day sales event of the year in a couple of weeks for potentially even better deals on this still very good smartwatch with Apple S10 processing power, up to 24 hours of battery life, and a beautiful Retina display in tow.

But Amazon isn't selling the Apple Watch Series 11 in brand-new condition in any variant and at any price, so your waiting might not pay off in this particular case. Oh, and while Woot's killer promotion is technically scheduled to last until Friday, September 25, there's a very distinct possibility the Amazon-owned e-tailer will run out of inventory much earlier than that, especially with only one rose gold aluminum model with a Light Blush sport band being available at the time of this writing.
