Xfinity Mobile has an absolutely bonkers deal on select Apple iPad models
Comcast's Xfinity Mobile is an MVNO that uses Verizon's wireless 4G LTE network. To help it sign up customers (at last count it has 1.5 million of them since starting service in 2017), the cable company wanted to offer the Apple iPhone. Comcast wanted to offer the handset so badly, it agreed to sell thousands of Apple iPad tablets as part of the deal. Whether it's an attempt to meet its contractual obligations with Apple, or because Father's Day is this Sunday, Xfinity Mobile is taking up to $360 off the price of the iPad in the form of monthly bill credits, making for one very juicy Comcast iPad promotion.

For example, the 32GB 9.7-inch Apple iPad (2018), the sixth generation model, is normally priced at $422.99 or 24 monthly payments of $17.62.  This is the Wi-Fi + Cellular variant of the slate. With the deal, the price drops to 24 monthly payments of $2.62. Color options include Gold, Silver, and Space Gray.

The new 64GB Apple iPad Air (2019) comes in Silver with a 10.5-inch screen. The Wi-Fi + Cellular version of the device is normally $566.99 or 24 monthly payments of $23.62. With the discount, you'll pay $8.62 a month over 24 months, making it an appealing Comcast iPad promotion. It's also an intriguing Xfinity iPad offer, if you will.

You can also save $360 on the new 64GB iPad mini (2019). The tablet carries a 7.9-inch screen and the Wi-Fi + Cellular version is usually priced at $492.99 or $20.54 a month over 24 months. With the $360 discount, you'll be making 24 monthly payments of $5.54. The colors available are Gold and Space Gray.

Lastly, the 64GB 10.5-inch Wi-Fi + Cellular Apple iPad Pro is available in Rose Gold or Space Gray. The regular price of the tablet is $532.99 or $22.20 a month over 24 months. With the $360 discount, the tablet will cost you 24 monthly payments of $7.20.

No matter which iPad you buy, Xfinity Mobile will charge you a $10 monthly tablet line fee that is in addition to the cost of the data plan you select. You can pay for 4G LTE service by the amount of data you use on a shared basis for the month ($12/GB), or $45/month per line for unlimited data. Video streams at 480p on both plans, and if you consume over 20GB in a month your dataspeeds are throttled to 1.5 Mbps download/750 kbps upload. What do you say, does that Comcast iPad promotion sound sweet to you?
