Xiaomi has every one talking today about its full screen concept phone, the Xiaomi Mi MIX. The 6.4-inch phablet has a front-side that is 91.3% covered by the front screen. It is a sexy design that is sure to make smartphone fanatics drool at the sight of it. Today, Xiaomi has released a video showing some of its executives commenting on the device. If you don't speak Chinese, don't fret. English sub-titles appear at the bottom of the screen.

One executive notes that most flagship models have screen to body ratios around 70%. But the larger screen ratio presented Xiaomi engineers with some issues that they were able to work around. In addition, thanks to cantilever piezoelectric ceramic acoustic technology vibrations come through the display allowing you to hear phone calls without an earpiece.

Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun says at the end of the video that originally, the MIX was strictly a concept phone not for mass consumption. Praising Xiaomi's engineers as the best in the world, the executive added that they are full of enthusiasm and want to develop the world's coolest technology.
