Buy a 2017 Apple iPhone from Verizon and get free iPhone 8; free Galaxy S9 and Pixel 2 XL deals too

Verizon has a deal for Mother's Day, which is a week from this coming Sunday. Buy any 2017 Apple iPhone, such as the Apple iPhone X, Apple iPhone 8 or Apple iPhone 8 Plus, and you'll get a free 64GB iPhone 8. Both phones need to be purchased using Verizon's Device Payment Plan. No trade-in is necessary, and you will be reimbursed $699.99 through 24 monthly bill credits. Since those credits don't kick in until one or two billing cycles go by, you'll have to lay out some money for one or two months for the free iPhone 8. But in the end, you will be reimbursed for those payments. You do have to add a new line to take advantage of this deal.

The 64GB Apple iPhone X will cost you 24 monthly payments of $41.33, or $47.91 for the 256GB model. The 64GB Apple iPhone 8 is priced at $29.16 a month for 24 months, and the 64GB Apple iPhone 8 Plus can be yours for 24 monthly payments of $33.33.

Android fans also have a similar deal. Buy the Samsung Galaxy S9+ for 24 monthly payments of $38.74 and get a Samsung Galaxy S9 for free. Buy the Samsung Galaxy S9 for $33.33 a month over 24 months, and get a second one for free. Or, save $100 and pick up the Google Pixel 2 XL for 24 monthly payments of $31.24, and get a second one for free. Similar to the iPhone deal, no trade-in is required but you do need to activate a new line. And you will receive a bill credit for your free device over 24 months, but it won't start until one or two billing cycles have passed. This will require you to lay out a little money that you will be reimbursed for.
