Verizon is selling the Samsung Galaxy Buds for $99, a 23% discount
The other day we told you that the Samsung Galaxy Buds wireless Bluetooth earphones were the second most popular in the "true wireless hearables" category during the first quarter. Apple's AirPods dominated this segment of the accessories market with a larger than 50% slice of the pie. For Samsung, it was the first time that the company finished as high as second as the Galaxy Buds made a strong showing after replacing the Gear IconX in March.

Normally priced at $129, Verizon has a great deal on the Galaxy Buds that will save you $30 or 23%. That takes the price of the "hearable" (love that name) down to $99. To grab the discount, all you have to do is visit Verizon's website, select either the White or Black Galaxy Buds, add your selection to the cart, and like magic, the discount will appear.

The Samsung Galaxy Buds feature sound from AKG and the Ambient Aware setting allows you to control how much of the surrounding noise you will hear. And Quick Ambient Mode makes sure that you don't miss that last boarding call, or the sound of your kids calling for you, or the horn blaring from the car that is about to turn you into road kill. One full charge lasts about six hours and the charging case adds an additional seven hours. If you have a Galaxy S10 device, you can use the PowerShare reverse wireless charging feature to replenish the batteries. All it takes is 15 minutes of charging to get up to 1.7 hours of use from the Galaxy Buds.

Touching the buds will give you control over streaming music, allow you to switch tracks or take a call. And the device will work on both Android and iOS handsets. We don't know how long this deal will be available but keep in mind that tomorrow is Father's Day.
