Update to the Microsoft Pix Camera app for iOS adds new features and improves performance
Microsoft might not be focusing on Windows 10 Mobile anymore, but that doesn't mean that the software giant is out of the smartphone game at all. First of all, Microsoft makes oodles of money every year thanks to its collection of Android patents that produce millions in royalty payments. And of course, the company has a collection of apps for both major platforms. So as you can see, Microsoft is still involved in the smartphone industry.

Today, the company added new features to its Microsoft Pix Camera app for iOS. A previous update allowed the app to recognize and scan business cards, whiteboards and documents. The brand new update now allows the app to recognize and scan blackboards. The update also allows users to take the scanned image of a white or blackboard, business card or document, and enhance it with effects. In addition, images can now be rotated 90 degrees during the edit/crop process. Microsoft also says that the update improves the performance of the app.

The Microsoft Pix Camera app is available for iOS users only, and is free. To install it on your iOS flavored device, click on the sourcelink.
