Unannounced Gionee model seen on Geekbench and TENAA; could be the Elife S7 mini
An unannounced Gionee handset has appeared on Geekbench, and has been certified in China by TENAA. The phone has a model number of GN9007 and features a 5-inch, 720 x 1280 resolution display. That works out to a 294ppi pixel density. The MediaTek MT6753 SoC is under the hood, carrying an octa-core 1.3GHz CPU and the Mali-T720 MP3 GPU. 2GB of RAM is inside, along with 16GB of internal storage. Those seeking additional memory can access the 128GB capacity microSD slot.

The Gionee GN9007 offers a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP camera in front. Android 5.1 is pre-installed, and the model supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro USB, and GPS connectivity.  At 6mm thin, this phone has a svelte design. It also is light, weighing in at 124.6 grams.

Model number GN9007 would fit in between the Gionee Elife S7 (GN9006) and Gionee Elife E8 (GN9008). Considering the model number and the taking the specs into account, this could very well be the Gionee Elife S7 mini.

While we wait for Gionee to make this official, TENAA has snapped the traditional mug shots that go along with its certification. Check them out, along with the Geekbench scores, in the slideshow below.

Thanks for the tip!
