The most requested feature for Google+, resharing posts, has been added via an update
According to the Lead Product Manager of Google Plus, Punit Soni, one of the most requested features for the app has been the ability to reshare posts. Thanks to the update to version 1.0.6 of the Android app, that feature and others have been added to Google+.
Besides the ability to pass along posts with others, the update brings 38 language compatibility to Google+, a small improvement in "notification reliability", easier to understand Instant Upload options during the initial set-up, and the ability for you to create a new circle from the "Circles" destination.
The update also gets rid of some bugs like the one that afflicts some HTC users and would make copies of Instant Uploads. Some users of Google+ had problems in Huddle with "No Name" coming up instead of a real user name. That bug has been fixed as has the problem that made the notification count change when your device's orientation was changed was from portrait to landscape. Those who could not create a new circle from the "Circles" destination will now be able to, thanks to the update, and when new messages are sent the hidden 1:1 Huddles will now reappear. Finally, there have been some minor tweaks and changes to the UI and some other "performance fixes".
