The heck with patent meetings - Google’s Eric Schmidt busts a move with PSY, Gangnam Style
Samsung Mobile's boss JK Shin and Google's Eric Schmidt, who is officially in Korea to launch the Nexus 7 there, were primed for a sitdown to discuss the patent war strategy against Apple, but that doesn't mean the Mountain View exec didn't enjoy his stay in Korea.
It was none other than the chubby YouTube sensation, the Korean rapper PSY that Eric Schmidt made the famous horse-riding dance with, Gangnam style.
PSY's magnum opus is north of 290 million YouTube hits, and entered the Guinness Book of Records, with PSY declaring that he will perform it live and half-naked if the tune climbs up to the top of the US Billboard chart.
A Google spokesman commented: "PSY visited the Google office to chat with Google Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt. Eric asked to be taught the horse dance and presented PSY with a framed Google Doodle."
Hey, after all PSY became viral and famous because of what Google has done with YouTube, Eric Schmidt deserves to learn the moves from the source!
