Taiwan Mobile teases image of a very slim Galaxy Note 5 with protective corners, S Pen stylus
With just a week left before Samsung's Unpacked event — when the Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 edge+, and an unknown tablet are expected to be announced — we're entering the juiciest period, teasers and leaks wise. Already, we saw Samsung publishing tantalizing renders just hours ago, and now it seems it's network operator Taiwan Mobile's turn.

What we have at hand is only a teaser image, though if the idea was for no details to be revealed ahead of announcement, this particular render does a poor job. For starters, it seems rather obvious that Samsung has trimmed all excess fat off the Note 4, and will be delivering a trend-aware Note 5 in a slim body. We also observe the protective corners already available with the Note 4, and we can assume that they're present on all four corners of the device.

Lastly, the signature S Pen is not just in the shot, but actually seems to be the very focus of the render. Thanks to the aforementioned, official Samsung teaser, we already know that the S Pen in the Note 5 will feature a very distinct cap at the top, making it easier to withdraw from its slot. There's still uncertainty as to whether a 'click' mechanism, as rumored, will be part of the package, but we sure hope so!

If you're as excited as we're for Samsung's upcoming devices, we'd advise you keep a close eye on PhoneArena, for we'll be scouring the web in the next few days, trying to get you as much relevant, preliminary intel as possible.
