T-Mobile's Samsung GALAXY Note II to get update with multi-windows starting on December 19th
T-Mobile has announced that it will start sending out a maintenance update to the Samsung GALAXY Note II on December 19th. This update will send out the multi-windows feature that allows the user to divide the screen in half and use two applications simultaneously. At the same time, the update fixes a problem that prevented Exchange calendar events from appearing on the unit's calendar. It also gets rid of a bug that prevented users of Gmail from swiping through the messages.

The update will be sent out OTA or, if you don't want to wait for the update to reach your phone, you can hook up the Samsung GALAXY Note II to your PC via the USB port and pull the update out of Kies. All of the directions are available at the sourcelink. The new baseband version will be T889UVALK8.
