T-Mobile starts shipping pre-ordered Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 edge units?
That suspicious looking package lying in front of your doorstep when you get home from work tomorrow might contain the new Samsung Galaxy S6 or Samsung Galaxy S6 edge that you pre-ordered from T-Mobile. The carrier has reportedly sent out emails to its customers who pre-ordered the new handsets, alerting them that the device(s) they reserved could arrive as soon as Monday.

The official launch date for the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 edge is April 10th, which means that T-Mobile customers who pre-ordered either handset could have them in their hands well before they are available in the stores. HTC has apparently sent out a similar email to those who pre-ordered the HTC One M9, saying that U.S. pre-orders of its new flagship will ship starting on Monday.

T-Mobile is still running a very useful promotion to consumers who pre-order the Galaxy S6 or the Galaxy S6 edge. Reserve one of the new handsets before April 12th and T-Mobile will give you 12 months of Netflix for free. The video streamer now has one of the most talked about original new shows, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. This is quite a useful bonus from T-Mobile. And if you already pre-ordered your new phone from the carrier, you could be watching Netflix on it as soon as tomorrow.

nope. samsung already has problems producing vast amounts of edge screens. if they made all the s6 as edge versions, it would be havoc.

You can't say that 100% of the people in the market to upgrade is ready for the Edge at a $100 increase. Some people actually want the standard version. I expect Samsung to release 2 versions of the Note 5 as well. Plus if the regularly S6 is not moving expect to see excellent deals when the iPhone 6s is released. $0 down on a 2 year contract would be an excellent strategy this fall against the competition. That would steal many iPhone users coming out of 5S contracts.

Yes, perhaps for everyone except for TMobile. Considering they are the UnCarrier and have not had contracts, buy out ETF and pay off EIP and STILL cost less than the other "Big Three"...I think the phone costs themselves will be the biggest downside. I can honestly tell you I really do not like the edge, nor do I really like the Samsung line of Galaxy. I am going to look at an HTC.

What cost? They can all get the Edge for a low cost by using the monthly payment plan. With Verizon the Edge is $0 down and 37 bucks per month for the 128GB version. Fior Verizon customers seeking the Samsung Galaxy S6, the full retail price is $599.99, $699.99 and $799.99 for the 32GB, 64GB and 128GB models. With a signed contract, the subsidized prices are $199.99 (32GB), $299.99 (64GB) and $399.99 (128GB). Those three prices are after a $50 mail-in rebate. With Verizon Edge, you will pay 24 monthly installments of $24.99 for 32GB, $29.16 for 64GB and $33.33 for 128GB. Verizon customers looking for the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge can pay the full retail price of $699.99, $799.99 and $899.99 for 32GB, 64GB and 128GB, respectively. With a signed two year pact, the prices are $299.99 (32GB), $399.99 (64GB) and $499.99 (128GB) after a $50 mail-in rebate. Lastly, with Verizon Edge the 24 month pricing is $29.16, $33.33 and $37.49 each month for 32GB, 64GB and 128GB respectively.

That's ONLY on approved credit or within a contract. Keep in mind, not everyone WANTS a contract, in fact, most of the time, people DON'T want to be in contract. So, are you an employee of Verizon? I am going to take a guess that you may be TechieXP1969. Either that, or you have literally taken it off the website, since that sounds like a pitch from a salesperson. That is ONLY Verizon. Have you compared it to any of the other carriers?

They would be taking a page out of Apple's marketing: iPhone 4, 4s, 5, 5s are essentially the same phone.

That's good for customers who pre-ordered. Samsung should've stuck with S6 edge only.

Now we'll find out for real if it's so good as it looks and seems, once the user reports start flooding in.

I saw these phones at the mall today and boy I must confess, I was amazed. Luckily I had my iPhone 6 plus with me so I did a quick speed test and design verifications. The s6 edge is just a uniquely designed phone. My 6 plus felt too big and heavy all of a sudden. It also felt odd and boring compared to the s6 edge. The phone felt like something from the future. The screen was just wow! Coming from an Lcd I felt like the colors way too much but that's because my eyes are used to the dull colors on the 6 plus. I'm definitely going to give this phone a try. If it doesn't work out for me then I return back to my iPhone. All in all I think Apple needs to step it's display and design game up. The s6 compared to an iPhone doesn't seem drastic but when you see the edge the story changes.

A true Apple un-fanboi. I didnt think u all existed. Someone who can actually say something bad about an iPhone and not get mad, especially when its the truth. I agree the colors on the Galaxy are punchy, that's because they are closer to the real color unlike the iPhone.
