Sprint invites its customers to sign-up for mobile insurance “open enrollment” underway
The conditions of the deal/s may have changed since the initial publishing of this post.
For the month of March, Sprint is offering any of its customers who may have originally declined to sign up for its Total Equipment Protection an opportunity to get device coverage.
Just like AT&T’s recently announced open enrollment period, Sprint is making available its Total Equipment Protection (TEP), and TEP Plus, packages available without the requirement to be within a particular purchase window of your device.
The difference in Sprint’s protection plans are in price. The monthly fee for TEP varies based on the type of device you have, between $9 and $11 per-month, and there is a deductible between $50 and $200, determined again by the type of device.
TEP Plus is $13 per-month, includes everything in TEP, then eliminates the deductible (up to twice annually), offers 5GB of data and media back-up, provides virus protection, technical support for your smartphone, and more. To sign up for TEP Plus, Sprint customers must have a “higher tier” device.
