Spice up your selfies with the Retrica app for Android
There's no shortage of photography-oriented apps in the Play Store, and Google itself dabbled in the field yesterday with its standalone Camera piece. Retrica, however, makes applying artsy or fun filters to your photos a breeze, and offers no less than eighty of them to boot. You can apply filters before you take the shot, and they can even be tucked onto your selfies, so Retrica is bound to enjoy some success times.
The app allows you to make several photos shot in adjustable succession, and with filters applied in the meantime, for a fun collage as the end result. Moreover, Retrica has other tricks up its sleeve, besides filters. It offers the trendy out-of-focus effect, which can blur the background when you shoot a portrait, for instance, and for which HTC specifically plopped a Duo Camera on its One (M8) flagship.
