Specs and another new render leak for the Moto X (2017)
The Moto X (2017) has been the subject of a number of leaks, and this morning we have another alleged render to show you along with rumored specs of the model.. First, let's start with the specs. According to a tweet from tipster Roland Quandt, the handset has a model number of XT-180x and a codename of "Sanders." Driving the phone will be the Snapdragon 625 SoC featuring an octa-core chipset and the Adreno 506 GPU. Inside will be 3GB/4GB RAM with 32GB/64GB of native storage. And at least one of the dual-cameras on back weighs in at 13MP. This obviously sounds like the Moto X (2017) will be a mid-range model.

Another Motorola phone codenamed "Albus" (as in Dumbledore) has surfaced on another tweet sent by Quandt.. This handset also carries the Snapdragon 625 chipset with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage. It has similar specs to the Moto Z Play, but with a 12MP camera on back.

As far as the render is concerned, we can point out that the dual-camera setup is found on back, looking the same as it does on other leaks. The antenna lines also match up as does the Motorola logo. We'd still take the images with a grain of salt until we see some verification that they are genuine.

Usually an increase in leaks pertaining to a particular phone model usually means that it will soon be unveiled.  So if the Moto X (2017) is of interest to you, check in often for the latest leaks and news about the device.

I liked it when the Moto X was a good flagship that didn't break your wallet. Smh, gone are the days when moto was a trusted brand with very good phones.

Hahaha i almost choked on my joint, 100 db sound, are you going to drive a Harley while listening to songs on those speakers? The M8 was 75db, the Moto XPE was 79db and that's very very loud.

I wish the fifth Moto X was a refresh of the first 4.7" screen phone, with modern specs.

Meh, I used to love Motorola, but that's no longer the case. I love everything about the Moto X Pure, but it's a year and a half old already and I'm not a fan of the Z lineup or the G, and the design of the upcoming Moto X looks drastically different and I'm not a fan.

Seems a lot like the G5 (Plus). What's the point?

If it's a dual camera setup then it's most likely the Snapdragon 626.
