Sony's upcoming Xperia flagship shows up in images ahead of IFA 2019 reveal
Sony is gearing up to bring yet another top-tier Android smartphone at IFA 2019 in less than a week. The Japanese company is expected to reveal at least one new device next week, although not much is known about the Xperia flagship coming from Sony in the second half of the year.

The first images of the flagship have just been shared by XperiaBlog and from what's we've noticed, it looks very similar to the Xperia 1. Sony decided to opt for the same traditional rectangular form factor and there's no notch, so basically there are few to no changes whatsoever when it comes to looks.

Since the images show the backside, we're able to confirm the smartphone will boast a triple camera, which is now positioned in the top left rather than the middle. The dual-LED flash is located just above the camera island.

A fingerprint sensor should be placed on the right side along with the camera dedicated button, but that's just about all we can determine from these pictures if they are indeed showing Sony's upcoming flagship.

No details about the phone's specs emerged along with these pictures, but we're bound to learn more next week, so stay tuned if you're an Xperia fan.
