Sony CX190 to be a humble 4" Android coming late summer, camera sample leaks

An upcoming Sony CX190 is making the rounds on the Interwebs, and it seems to fit squarely below the mid-range Xperia SP and the Xperia L. Dubbed Xperia C for now, it will allegedly feature a 4" 480 x 854 pixels screen, dual-core Qualcomm MSM8627 or MSM8230 processor, 1 GB RAM and 4 GB of internal storage plus microSD card. It apparently is not to be confused with the MediaTek-powered C3 that leaked not long ago.

A modest 5 MP camera with 720p HD video recording rounds up the offering, a Picasa sample from which you can see above, and Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean is said to be running the show. Judging from the specs, it won't break the bank either, and now all that is left is to wonder about the final design and launch date, as well as the target markets. Rumors are that it might be released the end of August, which coincides with Sony's traditional strong presence at the IFA electronics expo in Berlin.
