Select Canadian retailers now have Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) and Samsung GALAXY Tab 2 (7.0)
Samsung has announced that select Canadian retailers are now offering the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) and the Samsung GALAXY Tab 2 (7.0). The 10.1 inch tablet will come with 16GB of storage and cost $349 while the smaller 7 inch model will be equipped with 8GB of storage and be priced at $249. Both models will have Android 4.0 installed out of the box.

The display on each model will feature a WXGA (1280 x 800) display made with Gorilla Glass. Each will have a dual-core 1GHz processor under the hood along with 1GB of RAM. Both models will offer a 3MP camera with 1080p video capture. With Wi-Fi connectivity, the smaller model is powered by a 4000mAh battery while a 7000mAh cell keeps the gerbils running on the larger tablet. Both models offer a 32GB capacity microSD slot.

Back in May, it was announced that buyers of either of these tablets would receive 50GB of storage for free from Dropbox. While nothing about this was mentioned in Sammy's presser, we have have inquired about this and hope to get an answer to pass along to you soon.
