Samsung will release Windows Phone 7.8 update to all its previous WP smartphones
We bring good news for all of you holding on to a veteran Windows Phone device made by Samsung. The company has confirmed to Windows Phone Italy that all of its smartphones will be getting a major software update – that to Windows Phone 7.8, which brings a bunch of WP8 elements and features to legacy handsets. The list of improvements includes the redesigned home screen, which will add a third live tile size, more interface color options, and the ability to have Bing set your lock screen wallpaper.

Now, it is great having a confirmation about the upcoming software update to Windows Phone 7.8, especially when it comes from Samsung itself, but it would have been even nicer if we had an arrival date as well. Sadly, one is not being mentioned, but we expect for the new software to become available early next year.
