It looks like Samsung fans will be spoiled with tons of nice surprises for the next month or so, as the South Korean company has just introduced its new Android flagship tablet, the Galaxy S6 Tab, and is now gearing up to unveil the Galaxy Note 10/10+ and Galaxy Watch 2.
But there's another smartphone that didn't get the attention it might deserve, most likely because this is not a high-end product. Even so, if you're one of the early 5G adopters, Samsung's upcoming phone is going to interest you.
Back in July, rumors emerge that Samsung plans to launch a Galaxy A series phone with 5G support, but no details about the phone were available at that time. Well, it looks like the said device has just been listed on the Wi-Fi Alliance website, MySmartPrice reports.
The unannounced phone goes by model number Samsung SM-A908B, but it might be launched on the market as Galaxy A90 5G. The listing doesn't reveal any details about the phone's specs, but previous reports mention a huge 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, 6GB RAM, and 128GB internal memory.
Also, the Galaxy A90 5G will boast an impressive triple camera (48MP+8MP+5MP) and a large 4,500 mAh battery. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi Alliance listing confirms the smartphone will ship with Android 9.0 Pie on board, but we can safely assume the phone will eventually be updated to Android Q.
No details about price and release are available at the moment, but Samsung is expected to announce the non-flagship 5G smartphone in late August or early September.
