Samsung plans to offer two additional tablets on top of the Samsung Galaxy Tab
The 7” Android powered Samsung Galaxy Tab doesn't look to be the sole tablet offering out of Samsung's camp as a source for Korea Herald claims that the South Korean manufacturer is in the process of also creating two additional tablets. Expected to come in 8-inches and 10-inches, these two Android powered tablets will most likely be launched locally in Korea with SK Telekom where it's expected to go up against the Apple iPad down the road. Customers won't have to wait long as an August time frame is pinned for the Samsung Galaxy Tab while its 8” variant will come in October while the 10” one will become a reality in December. Samsung's plan is to launch the tablet before the Apple iPad is release towards the end of the year in order to take a domestic lead in the market before a single iPad is sold. However, there is no mention if Samsung plans to take these tablets outside of Korea just yet.
