You can already pre-order dbrand skins for Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+
dbrand, the well-known maker of custom skins for smartphones and other devices, today revealed two collections of vinyl skins for the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+.

Of course, Samsung has yet to officially announce the Galaxy S8 and S8+, so we're a bit surprised to see dbrand's collections already listed online. Nevertheless, this is not a leak or something like that. It's serious news from a respected accessory maker.

Interested customers can already pre-order dbrand's skins for the Galaxy S8 family, though we assume that not many will want to do that before knowing when and for how much the new phones will be released.

dbrand's Galaxy S8 skins are available in different finishes, including carbon fiber, leather, wood, metal, and stone. Prices can go from $9.95 (if you want only the back of your S8 to be covered) to $16.50 (for full coverage, including the phone's front top and front bottom).

Interestingly, while presenting its skins, dbrand says that the Galaxy S8 is "an engineering masterpiece" and "also an absolute fingerprint magnet" - that's why you might want to buy a skin for it. The accessory maker even shows a render of the S8 on its website. While we can't vouch for its authenticity, this render is certainly in line with most of the previously leaked S8 images, showing a tall handset with a dual-curve display and very thin bezels. Also visible is a fingerprint scanners on the rear, next to the main camera.

Samsung will officially announce the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ on March 29, and could start selling both smartphones in April. Until then, for a detailed look at what the new handsets are expected to offer, you may want to check out our Galaxy S8 and S8+ rumor review.

That's a good call! I wonder why D-brand doesn't offer a transparent option? I'd be all over that.

Because only glass and plastic are transparent materials? Think about it!

vinyl is a type of plastic and transparent vinyl is common stuff that you can see everyday (btw. there are gazillions of transparent materials other than glass and plastic)

There will be no change in the design. The one week delay is related in chip manufacturing, they can't be ready for the launch.

I agree..although Im waiting to actually hold it before I pass judgement.I felt the same about the S7 edge when it was announced and actually ended up liking it.

True, might actually turn out to come with even more appealing functions over what the Note 7 offered. But just from the looks of the front and back alone, the Note 7 still looks better IMO, also, I preferred the capacitive/physical buttons it had, whereas this is all on-screen.
