Samsung Galaxy S4: 10 exclusive or little-known features review
posted by Daniel P. / Apr 05, 2013, 7:17 AM
As with every phone that's been in the office for a while, however, we are constantly discovering hidden nuggets or extra options that make life with the handset easier, and the S4 has plenty of those.
scratch-proof Gorilla Glass 3 super-sensitive display through "5G Wi-Fi" and MHL 2.0 support, to the TripAdvisor Samsung Edition and a Safety Assistance emergency contacts option, we are rounding up some of them in the slideshow below, while we keep on exploring the handset. From
- Display 5.0" 1080 x 1920 pixels
- Camera 13 MP / 2 MP front
- Processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 600, Quad-core, 1900 MHz
- Storage 64 GB + microSDXC
- Battery 2600 mAh(17h 3G talk time)

I agree with you. Only the Wifi seem to be eye catchy. but. it's useless at this point really! "Not that there is an abundance of 802.11ac routers on sale yet" nor ppl would know that it needs at least a shield Cat 6 cable to hook up the router.

Same here. The weather sensors are great and can give you improved real time weather updates or better weather widgets. The super sensitive touch screen is also a plus. Once the Verizon One variant comes out I can't wait to play with both phones.

It's up to your decision, I'm in the same but I find the dual stereo front speakers and Sense 5 more appealing than all the sensors you'd probably never use or super sensitive screen that a lot of people turn off in the Lumia 920 because it gets a little annoying

The S4 is a well made phone. That is, in terms of design and physical quality. But as far as function and features, The HTC ONE is clearly the better choice of the two. Why let an plastic body with tones of gimmick features, that will most likely not to be used realisticly, be the determining factor in choice?

im sorry man, but Android world is all about gimmicks and features and thats what brought me to android instead of iOS. Take HTC and the weather clock for example, when i first saw it i said wow, and then a lot of companies did the same. If u ask me, this is a gimmick feature. Live wallpapers and some widgets are gimmicky, but is nice to have them. Blink Feed is a great feature or a gimmicky? what else One has? the speakers I dont use it and most people I see, dont go listen to music without their headphones. If i listen without them, it would be elsewhere, not on my phone. If you think the build quality of the One is so great, you should watch the droptest between the iphone and the One. Some features you call gimmicky on S4, i call smart features. What phone nowadays are revolutionary? its all about gimmicks or features that becomes afterwards standard on other phones.

This "gimmick (labelled by hater)" phone will once again put HTC on shame.
