Samsung Galaxy S 4 demo: first phone with Gorilla Glass 3

We asked one of the Samsung reps at the grand unveiling of the Galaxy S 4 last night to sit down with us and make an overview of the phone from a sales person perspective, and one interesting fact slipped in the meantime.

The show floor representative confirms in the video below that the Galaxy S 4 will be the first phone to ship with Gorilla Glass 3 - Corning's latest toughened glass generation that got introduced earlier this year.

Gorilla Glass 3 is stronger and three times more scratch-resistant than Gorilla Glass 2. Corning also says that 40% fewer of the scratches that do occur will be visible to the naked eye, which seems to be confirmed with the scratch test of the Galaxy S III vs Galaxy S 4 you see above.
