Samsung Galaxy Note Edge launches in Canada on February 18: it'll be expensive
Just a few days ago, we told you that the Galaxy Note Edge would soon be released in Canada. Now, Samsung officially announced a launch date for the Canadian Note Edge: February 18. Both Rogers and Bell will sell the new handset starting that day, and it looks like customers can already pre-order theirs via the two carriers' reservation systems. Samsung takes pride in the fact that the Note Edge will be Canada's first LTE cat. 6 device.

Unsurprisingly, the Galaxy Note Edge will be quite expensive in Canada: $400 with a new 2-yr contract agreement, or $900 outright.

Already available in the US (via all major carriers), the Galaxy Note Edge is one of Samsung's most interesting smartphones ever, as it sports a curved display that wraps around its right edge, offering extra space, and specifically-designed content. That aside, the handset is a Quad HD powerhouse - much like the Galaxy Note 4 - featuring a quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor, 3 GB of RAM, a 16 MP rear camera, and Samsung's signature S Pen stylus. It seem like only last week when the announce this Samsung Galaxy Note Edge because it's slow in other country to be available in the stores. WTF Samsung doing? Anyway, lucky me because I'm using Apple iPhone and always love it...

Not worth the price over the Note 4 imo. Where I live the difference is €200 (~$226).

It looks beautiful but it's not worth the price, gotta give the credit to samsung for innovation, but my guess is that not a lot of people are gonna like it.

Canada was so close to becoming part of the U.S. During the American Revolutionary War, a small battle was fought near Montreal. If the American force had won, Canada would have belonged to America after the Treaty of Paris 1783. After all, one even smaller battle in the "west" gave America the right to claim land all the way to the Mississippi.
