Reserve your Samsung Galaxy Note 9 today from Samsung without putting up any money

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will be unveiled in New York City on August 9th during the company's latest unpacked event. But if you head over to Samsung.com, you can reserve the right to purchase the new device right now. This offer started today and runs through August 9th at 11:59pm EDT. Or, you can reserve your right to purchase the Galaxy Note 9 using the Shop Samsung app from August 10, 2018, starting at 12:01a.m. EDT, to August 12, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. EDT.

Once the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is released for sale, you will have 72 hours to return to the Samsung website or the Shop Samsung app to complete the transaction. If you fail to do that, the reservation will be cancelled. Keep in mind that reserving a spot doesn't require any money to change hands. That doesn't occur until you actually purchase the phone.

Samsung is also offering those who reserve the right to order the Galaxy Note 9, a chance to trade-in a qualified handset and receive up to $450 credit toward the purchase of the device. In addition, those who do sign up will receive their new Galaxy Note 9 on or before August 24th. To subscribe, click on the sourcelink below.

I will wait to see what the next Note will be. Nice deal and being able to reserve now will give Samsung an idea of demand. For now, I don't think the 9 is worth giving up the 8 for. But if you have an older Note, the move to a larger display and more S-Pen features, should be impossible to pass up.

Wanted an opinion, what do you guys think should I sell my iPhone X and get this one? my current phone is at 99% kept it in a lifeproof case since day one and it is like brand new so I should get good money for it. Just worried about the whole 'ecosystem' change to Android. I own a Mac computer and everything works fine but Im kinda bored already. Been using apple for the last 5 years and was thinking on switching to Android, back in the day I had android and I didn't like it (S2,S3,S4,S5) But I heard and Im sure that things have changed since then. Cheers!

Samsung's bloatware/clutter, very late software updates, too large size, and the curved sides are probably the only major things that will tease u with the Note 9. Rest should be fine.

AmashAziz's ignorant, imbecilic, Idiotic, morinic, uneducated & nonsensical comments are probably due him not knowing isht about phones.

Woah! I knew I would get hate for being honest with him but I didn't think it would be this much! Oh well..... you just told us how big of a blind samsung fanboy you are. I mean seriously, you can't say I spit the wrong things in my post above, can you? Anyways, I'm no samsung hater. You don't know anything about me. You joined just about an year ago and you think anyone not worshipping samsung is an idiot. I understand. There are many stupids like you here on PA.

"Samsung's bloatware/clutter, very late software updates, too large size, and the curved sides are probably the only major things that will tease u with the Note 9." 1. Expound on bloatware. There are a few apps that I feel are unnecessary but if you don't use them it's outta sight outta mind. 2. If by very late you mean the end of the month, then you're right. If by very late you mean the next OS update, with the exception of having the latest emojis, Samsung phones come with more features out of the box. 3. Too large size? If you're referring to the Note, IT'S A NOTE! If it weren't for the Note, displays would still be 4.6". 4. Curved sides have been implemented by Samsung for almost 4 years. Doesn't look like they plan on changing that. People complained about the S6 & Note 5 lacking SD expansion, they brought it back. People complained about the FPS placement on the S8 & Note 8, they moved it. People complained about the curved edges, so far they're still here. "You don't know anything about me. You joined just about an year ago and you think anyone not worshipping samsung is an idiot." I've been on PA since 2012. My original account was banned right before I made this one. I worked in wireless for almost 20 years so I know what I'm talking about. I think people posting status quo comments that make them sound like everyone else are idiots because idiots don't think for themselves. Next time don't sound like an idiot. Deal with it or move on, both regarding Samsung phones & my comment.

Samsung's UI isn't as bloated as it used to be in the past although I would recommend going for the unlocked version since it's going to be free of carrier bloatware. You're right about the updates and the curved screen though.

Tell me venom, was the Post no.9 above the right thing to say by that guy, toosmoove?? I mean I was being honest in my post no.8, wasn't it? So why the hate? He seems like a samsung fanboy. Btw I agree with you.

Just because I have an Apple logo I am an Apple fanboy......HAH! Idiot. I will leave you as you are. No need to waste my time on your childish brain. Though I hope you become better than this.

It's not hate if it was the truth. By the way, if I was a Samsung Fanboy then you would see me posting negative comments on Apple threads, which I don't. Again, know what you're talking about before you post a comment.

Dude, more than half of your comment no.22 is a joke! And you are telling me to know what I'm talking about?? I can't even reply to that whole thing; it's so long and stupid (most of it). For example, you said, "Expound on bloatware. There are a few apps that I feel are unnecessary..." You think we share the same exact feelings?? How stupid of you to think that if you feel a certain way about bloatware then I should feel the same way. Coz I don't. And in next sentence you suggest I should ignore it. Well that's why it's bloatware to me..... because I have to ignore it! You think ignoring it doesn't classify it as bloatware?? I don't know what you think but all that typing just to defend samsung tells me you are a samsung fanboy but don't wanna accept it. Or I might be wrong. You might not be a samsung fanboy. But you definitely sound like one. You are just trying to defend samsung when I didn't even try to offend it. I was merely stating the facts to that guy about the things that will probably be different in the Note 9 compared to the iPhone X? You understand that last statement?? Read it twice to know what I mean. And please....I have encountered hundreds of Apple and Samsung fanboys here. They all act like you did above. Defending their favourite brand as if it will give you guys free v-bucks....

The fact that you didn't even acknowledge my points 2-4 show that you are only concerned about 1 thing: "bloatware", which, again, can be easily ignored. But that & your definition of a fanboy are all you focused on in that soliloquy of yours so I'll leave this battle of wits since you're apparently unarmed.

If you read with your eyes open, you would have seen the phrase "for example...". It was in the 2nd para man. You couldn't comprehend that?? Awww man, so sad. If you did, you would've understood I didn't have time to reply to each and every point in detail. It would be useless arguing with you. So I choose just one as an example. And look, I was right! You didn't accept that u were wrong in some ways. And also, u did the same thing, not replying to any of my points. I guess we know who's the one unarmed.

Lol. Okay. In my first comment, I replied to all of your 'points'. I reciprocated your lack of acknowledgement to my points in my following reply. The fact is this: you don't know wtf you're talking about. Point blank, period. We'll just leave it at that.

Okay let's just leave it. And please, don't reply to any of my posts from now on. I don't wanna know (not from you atleast) how much wrong I am about samsung and how good that company is. I would appreciate if you do that. Thanks.

Do it. Sell the iphone X and join the dark side lol. The ecosystem change is usually what gets some people, but Android is going to have just about everything Apple has for the most part. At least on the Android front, you won't be as shackled as you are on Apple.

Yeah I love the endless possibilities that Android gives, I was debating between the Note and Oneplus 6, the one thing I DISLIKE A LOT IS THE FREAKIN NOTCH!! Decisions decisions...

Listen man. Note 9 will likely be a spectacular phone. You will probably not regret going to it. So definitely switch if you want to.

"Samsung's bloatware/clutter, very late software updates, too large size, and the curved sides are probably the only major things that will tease u with the Note 9." *inserts thinking face emoji* contradict much?

Read my post 35 above. Now to answer your question, those things I mentioned about the Note 9 are some frustrations I have with Samsung's devices. But, if you were smart you would've understood that these are only SOME problems so they donot make the whole device useless. They are just annoyances that I don't wanna have. But that doesn't mean the Note 9 will be awful completely. See? I told you you can't comprehend simple sentences. I hope you act smart from now on.
