Reminder: We'll be covering Motorola's event live tomorrow, October 18th
Motorola has teased us enough - first it posted a video entitled “MOTOROLA’S NEXT” and speaking about "Faster. Thinner. Smarter. Stronger." Then, recently it has sent out press kits with a rubik’s cube with the Motorola logo, an airplane suggesting speed and a carbon fiber styled mouse pad. Unofficially, we’re all looking forward to the unveiling of the rumored Motorola DROID RAZR, a handset said to be made with some reinforced materials, probably including kevlar, but also some top notch specs and a thin body.

Officially, though, Motorola stays mum making us wonder if we’re right about the RAZR and what else could there be. Luckily, the wait isn’t long - the company is holding a press event tomorrow, October 18th, kicking off at 9:00 am PST | 12:00 pm EST, and - of course - we’ll be covering it with a live blog, so don’t forget to check back around then.

In the meantime, here’s what we’ve heard about the RAZR so far:

- a 4.3" Super AMOLED qHD screen,
- an 8-megapixel camera capable of 1080p video capture,
- 1GB of RAM,
- either a TI OMAP 4430 clocked at 1.2GHz, or a 1.5GHz TI OMAP 4460,
- LTE connectivity.

The big question remains with the RAZR remains its operating system, though. Google is expected to unveil the new Android, Ice Cream Sandwich, later in the same day, so if the RAZR ships with the good old Gingerbread, getting updated swiftly could be a major point for its success.
