Real life photos of the Meizu Pro 6 in gentle Rose Gold and aggressive Red surface
It was about a couple of months ago when Meizu unveiled its most recent flagship – the Pro 6. Equipped with a 2.5 GHz, deca-core MediaTek Helio X25, 4 GB of RAM, and a 5.2-inch, 1080 x 1920 display, attractive looks, and a sub-$400 price-tag, the handset stayed true to Meizu's principles.

There were a couple of disappointments at launch, however. Some were sad to see that Meizu didn't outfit the smartphone with a Samsung Exynos SoC, like it did with the Pro 5, though, rumors do say there might be an Exynos 8890 version planned — fingers crossed! Secondly, two of the four colors that were announced were nowhere to be seen when the phone hit the markets. The finishes that were promised were Dark Gray, Silver, Red, Gold, and Rose Gold. Of these, one can currently only buy Dark Gray, Gold, and Silver.

Well, a new photo has popped up, showing what appear to be two Meizu Pro 6 units in the previously unavailable Red and Rose Gold colors. And, we have to say, that red color looks quite good!

Just a short PSA: If you're drooling over a Meizu handset — or any other bargain-priced smartphone from the Eastern markets — you can definitely order one from a 3rd party retailer, but be sure to check if it supports your carrier's bands and always keep in mind the shipping and import fees.
