You can still pre-order the 32GB model in black for the same price, but alas, you won't receive the free cradle. The tablet is also available in a 16GB variant in both black and white for $499.99. What do you get from Sony for that price? A hearty "thank you," but again, no cradle.
The Sony Xperia Tablet Z is a water and dust proof slate and offers a 10.1 inch screen with a 'Full HD Reality Display' of 1920 x 1200. That works out to a 224ppi pixel density. A quad-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 APQ8064 processor is under the hood with an Adreno 320 GPU on board. 2GB of RAM is inside the tablet and the native storage on the device can be expanded with the use of the microSD slot. The 8.1MP camera on back captures 1080p video at 30fps while the 2.2MP front-facing camera takes self-portraits and enables video chat. The 6000mAh battery should provide for long battery life and Android 4.1.2 is installed out of the box.
