OnePlus to hold flash sale on June 6th; 1000 OnePlus 3 units to be sold for $455 (not final price)
While OnePlus will be both unveiling and taking orders for the OnePlus 3 during its virtual event on June 14th, the company is holding a flash sale in China on June 6th. 1000 units of the OnePlus 3 will be made available with a non-final price equivalent to $455 USD.  The final price will actually be determined at the time of the unveiling. Earlier today, we passed along a rumor about the pricing of the new "flagship killer," and the configuration of four rumored variants.

Even though the phones will be offered on June 6th, they will not ship until the 14th. And those who purchase the phone during the flash sale will have the right to pull out of the transaction if the final price of the device is too rich for their blood. If the prices that we told you about this morning are legitimate, the highest priced OnePlus 3 (6GB RAM with 64GB of native storage) will cost $425 USD, lower than the price of the flash sale.

We're not sure what participating in the flash sale does for anyone interested in the OnePlus 3. You will end up paying the same price as anyone else for the handset, and you won't necessarily be receiving your phone before those ordering on June 14th. Still, we are pretty sure that all 1000 units will be accounted for in seconds. On the other hand, OnePlus stands to get some decent media attention out of doing this.

This company has the worst and most frustrating system of selling its devices, hopefully it will become good as the damn invite system has finally gone.

Like flash sales are any better. Companies should be getting troubled to sell phones to people, not the other way round.

ZTE Axon 7 has lot of advantages over this like 2 year warranty, guaranteed updates, VOLTE & Wi-fi calling for T-Mobile(Axon Pro has this and I am sure Axon 7 will also), Almost stock Android UI,etc

Hahaha, they sure have a lot of faith in their brand, not even unveiled yet, just buying it outright blindly...sounds familiar.
