Earlier today, OnePlus took the wraps off of its usual second half upgrade and introduced the OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro. Ironically, 2019's first half saw OnePlus deliver the premium OnePlus 7 Pro in the states while the OnePlus 7 was delivered overseas; with the OnePlus 7T Pro too similar to the current model, the manufacturer decided there was no reason to offer it to U.S. consumers who instead will get a shot at the OnePlus 7T.

The OnePlus 7T is equipped with a 6.55-inch Super AMOLED display featuring a 30% smaller waterdrop notch. OnePlus added the 90Hz refresh rate from the "Pro" model, which should make scrolling and mobile game playing smoother. With a 1080 x 2400 resolution (FHD+), the aspect ratio works out to 20:9 giving the handset a thinner and bit taller display. Powered by the overclocked Snapdragon 855+ Mobile Platform (with an enhanced Adreno 640 GPU providing a 15% improvement in graphics), the OnePlus 7T will come with 8GB of memory and 128GB or 256GB of storage depending on the market. Thanks to UFS 3.0 (better start taking notes Google), apps open faster, the phone boots quicker and there is an overall feeling of speed. A 3800mAh capacity battery keeps the lights on, and the OnePlus 7T will be the first phone to ship with Android 10 pre-installed. The version of OnePlus' OxygenOS that comes out of the box with the device is based on the latest Android build.

After the OnePlus 7T was introduced this morning, the manufacturer released its official new product video. The theme behind the video is that you have plenty of things to do, so you need a phone that delivers what you need quickly. The video mentions the triple camera setup on the back (48MP primary + 12MP telephoto with a 2x optical zoom + 16MP Ultra-wide) and there is a front-facing 16MP selfie snapper. And even under low-light conditions, Nightscape will allow users to snap viewable photographs. The video says, "you've got things to do and places to be" so Warp Charge 30T will have your battery charged to 50% in just 20 minutes.
