3comments

A new update is rolling out to OnePlus 5T units across the globe. The new OxygenOS 4.7.4 doesn't come with Oreo on board, but it does bring a bunch of useful tweaks, optimizations, and bug fixes.

Here are some of the highlighted changes of this build:

Camera
  • Optimized UI of Camera
  • Improvements in photo quality

System
  • Optimizations for audio from speaker and earphones
  • Optimizations for face unlock
  • Optimizations for vibration
  • Wi-Fi battery usage optimization
  • Improved stability of fingerprint and GPS
  • General bug fixes and system stability improvements

The OTA rollout of the update is going to happen gradually, so it might need some time to reach all compatible devices. As always, make sure that your phone is sufficiently charged and connected to a Wi-Fi network before proceeding with the patch.
