OnePlus 2 camera samples get officially compared to the Galaxy S6 and iPhone 6

The OnePlus 2 is expected to feature a 13 MP camera unit on the back, but we were wondering if it will have an optical image stabilization mechanism to accompany it, too. Well, judging from the comparison shots that the OnePlus CEO Peter Lau posted on the company's forums, it might not.
Several pictures were shown, comparing OnePlus 2 camera samples to the same scenes taken with a Galaxy S6 and an iPhone 6. The iPhone 6 comparison was with night shots, and the Galaxy S6 with macro closeups.
phone is expected to land in about two week's time, and cost around $400, as per the CEO.We won't be commenting on the quality of the shots, as the OnePlus 2 model is probably a preproduction unit, though we like what we are seeing in both situations, if these are indeed the original unretouched shots, straight out of the OnePlus 2 camera. I have S6 since 3 weeks. Everything is good except the frequent lagging and not great battery life. TouchWiz is much heaver than the stock Android. I am also afraid it would get slower and slower after few weeks.

Well it shouldn't do a factory rest and only get apps from the reliable source that should really help and there's a lot of things you should turn off. If the problem still was there you can use a custom rom too.

Frequent lagging? I've had the S6 since it was released and the only time I've ever experienced lag was when reading long articles on Chrome or playing graphic intensive games for a long time. The battery life is sufficient for a full day and I use it all the time, maybe lower your screen brightness or something. The new Touchwiz is almost as fast as stock Android and is much lighter than the old one. All Android phones slow down eventually, but if it happens within a year I'd say you're the problem.

In what regard is it a flagship killer? That's the real question.

G4 has manual control to the max and it has amazing OIS. It might not deliver the best colour balance, but it's sharp as fk.

"comparison shots that the OnePlus CEO Peter Lau posted" This already kills the credibility of this comparison. Of course they're gonna nitpick the shots, of course they have to make the competition look worse. Oh, and MKBHD actually listed the camera specs. 13 MP, f/2.0, laser-assisted autofocus. Also he did a really short camera comparison. Pretty impressive, but I don't think it's going to beat the G4 and the S6.

lol it's like they're trying to make the Galaxy S6's and the iPhone 6's photos look uglier than it can ever be there's no way you can get that blurry, out of focus photos on the Galaxy S6, unless you really want to

I like OPO but their maketing gimmick irritate me most of the time. Of course the CEO will only post biased photos. If he wants to be open about it, he should ask someone not working with OPO that has both phones to do it.E.g. MKBHD

An image comparison made by One Plus? No thanks. I'll wait for an independent test. It's clear from the 4th image (the ink pen) that the S6 photo was focused on the background (where you can clearly see some wood texture) instead of the pen tip. No wonder it's softer.
