After months of waiting, customers in the UK can finally purchase HMD's most advanced smartphone to date, the
Nokia 6. The device was initially
slated for a June release, but because HMD was unable to cope with the high demand for the smartphone, availability in many countries was postponed for a few months.
Nokia 6 is exclusively available in the UK via Carphone Warehouse. The good news is the smartphone costs less than it was originally announced. Back in April, HMD announced the
Nokia 6 would be up for purchase for £229.99 in the UK, but Carphone Warehouse is selling it for just £199.99.
Moreover, customers can get it for free or for much less if they sign up for new contracts with local carriers.
Nokia 6 comes in three color options: Blue, Silver, and Black. A fourth color, Copper, is not available for purchase yet.
In related news, Nokia 6 will remain the most powerful Android smartphone launched by HMD for just a little longer, as the Finnish company confirmed a
launch event for August 16 where we believe a more advanced handset, the
Nokia 8, will be revealed.
