New information about the 4-inch Apple iPhone 7c emerges; mass production starts next momth?
New information about the Apple iPhone 7c has been leaked. You might recall that a China Mobile roadmap listed the device as launching in April. Today's leak states that the handset will resemble the shape and size of the Apple iPhone 5c, and will be offered in three colors. The new model will be powered by a 1642mAh battery.

Based on previous speculation, the metal-clad iPhone 7c will carry a 4-inch screen with 2.5D curved glass, and employ the Apple A9 chipset that is found inside the Apple iPhone 6s and Apple iPhone 6s Plus.

The iPhone 7c has completed a small trial production, according to today's report, and will start mass production next month. Back in April, we told you that AU Optronics had received an order for 4-inch panels to be used for the iPhone 7c. That was follow by a report from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who said that the 4-inch iPhone 7c would launch in 2016.

Until Apple announces the device, it is not official. But all signs do point to a 4-inch iPhone 4c that will be available early next year.

Thanks for the tip!
