Besides the stylish, powerful
MiPad, Xiaomi is prepping something more down to earth in the Android slate department, it seems. According to the GFXBench database it should sport a 9.2" display with HD resolution, unlike the 8" high-res panel of the MiPad. The choice of display resolution hints that this will be a low-cost device, confirmed further by the silicon mix - a 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 410 by Qualcomm, paired with 1 GB of RAM, and 8 GB of internal storage, of which about 6 GB are user-available.
There is no rear camera to speak of, but the surprising part is that a front-facing shooter is also conspicuously missing, indicating either a non-final specs listing, or a really barebones, affordable device by Xiaomi. The chipset is 64-bit, though, so the purported tablet could be outed with Android 5.0 Lollipop onboard. Furthermore, the device obviously has a SIM card slot, too, so there's obviously more than meets the eye here, so we can't wait for more info to trickle down the pipe.
