New Samsung Galaxy S8 print teaser surfaces

This morning, Samsung revealed a new teaser for the Samsung Galaxy S8 in the form of a poster. In Korean, the poster reads "Completion and a New Start," perhaps making a statement about last year's issues with the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. The image on the teaser shows a person standing next to a smartphone shaped door. Outer Space beckons through the portal, with various planets and meteors making it through the door.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8+ should be unveiled on March 29th in New York City (which is March 30th in Korea thanks to the time difference). Pre-orders should take place between April 7th and April 17th. Analysts who spend most of their waking hours thinking about things like sales and profit margins, expect the number of Samsung Galaxy S8 units reserved to top the 400,000 that were set aside for the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8+ should launch on April 28th.

Also this morning, a television ad that uses a similar image as the accompanying teaser was aired in South Korea. The images seem to indicate that the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will be offering some improved VR capabilities.
