Motorola launches new EDGE module

Motorola announced the launch of the G24 EDGE module. It is a quad-band (850/ 900/ 1800/ 1900 MHz) GSM wireless module. Its flexibility and small size make connectivity between mobile devices even better. The module has an exceptional RX sensitivity - 4dBm better than the standard one, which will allow devices to have stable wireless connectivity even in places with low coverage.

The launch of the G24 module means that Motorola will now be able to manufacture telephones with EDGE support.
