Motorola confirms that two new Moto Mods are coming soon
A couple of weeks ago, we passed along a rumor that Incipio was about to unveil its second Moto Mod. The first one is the offGRID power pack that in the blink of an eye delivers 22 hours of extra battery life to a Moto Z handset. The new Moto Mod was said to be a vehicle dock that would offer hands-free use and more.

As it turned out, on Thursday Motorola announced that two more Moto Mods are coming to the Moto Z series. The Incipio Smart Car Dock Moto Mod is going to be priced at $64.99, and allows a Moto Z to be mounted inside a car where it can be plugged into a cigarette lighter to charge the battery. It can also be plugged into the car's audio system. Magnets in the phone allow it to be secured to the car's air conditioning vent either vertically or horizontally. When the phone is placed in the dock, it automatically launches Android Auto to provide a safer, hands-free interface. The accessory should be shipping soon.

Another Moto Mod that is on the way is the mophie Juice Pack, which will carry a 3000mAh battery to add 60% more battery life. Other features include a Type-C USB port for quick charging, and a set of status indicator lights. Charge your Moto Z with the Juice Pak attached and both the phone and the accessory get to power up. The price for the Juice Pack Moto Mod is $79.99. While not yet officially available, the mophie Juice Pack can be ordered now from Verizon. If interested, click on the source link.

Motorola says we should see four new Moto Mods per quarter for 2017.
