Motorola announces that the BACKFLIP is headed to Germany
As the Motorola BACKFLIP is about to makes its way to US consumers, Motorola has announced that their Android powered smartphone will also make its way to Germany. Announced back during CES, the BACKFLIP is expected to launch some time in the second quarter of this year – which isn't too bad when you consider that the we're already heading down the last leg of the first quarter. The Motorola BACKFLIP of course utilizes a different form factor that we've seen previously with the CLIQ and DEXT – it sports a unique reverse flip design which makes it easier to enjoy videos, music, and photos. In addition to running Android 1.5, casual social networking users will enjoy being able to stay connected thanks to MOTOBLUR. When it comes to availability and pricing, Motorola has yet to make those pieces of information official – but it shouldn't be too long before it makes a splash in Germany.
