Lenovo roadmap reveals five upcoming smartphones

A leaked roadmap for Lenovo, reveals five new models that are expected to be released starting next month, and continuing through November. We start this journey with a model called the A768t. This handset is expected to be equipped with a 5.5 inch screen, powered by the 64 bit Snapdragon 410. Scheduled for a release at the end of  the first week of September, this unit will reportedly have 1GB of RAM with 8GB of native storage. The back and front-facing cameras are believed to weigh in at 8MP and 2MP respectively, and the model should support 4G LTE connectivity.

Next up is the S858t. Said to measure a svelte 6mm thin and weigh just 99 grams, this phone should hit the market in the middle of next month as a "minimalist style device." It does sound like it will fit into any pocket.  That phone is followed by the Lenovo Vibe X2, which is tipped to be powered by an octa-core processor, running at 2GHz. Rumored to include LTE connectivity, this model is supposedly a mid-ranger with fashion sense. You can expect this handset to drop during the end of September.

After a busy September, the next smartphone release is expected to take place in late October with the Lenovo Sisley. Just 6.9mm thin, the Sisley appears to be named after a cosmetics brand popular in France. We should see a 13MP snapper on the phone, which should be available in white, cream, pink, orange, gray, and blue. We could see this model marketed to the teens, or fashion conscious adults.

Lenovo's Yoga convertible line is said to be the inspiration for the Apollo Yoga. This model, due out in the first half of November, is supposedly a flip phone that rotates to 360 degrees.

Did any of the five models listed in this roadmap, whet your appetite for a new phone? Perhaps one of the models discussed has your name all over it, hmm?

Thanks for the tip!
