Leak reveals three different variants of the Xiaomi Mi Note 2?

The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will be the sequel to the 5.7-inch Xiaomi Mi Note phablet. Feng Weiwen, the editor of Shenzhen Digital Technology, has leaked some information about the Mi Note 2. According to Feng, there will be three different versions of the device. One of the models will feature a curved screen.

The base model of the Mi Note 2 will come with a single camera on the back, Hi-Fi audio, and a quick charge feature for the battery. The second variant will feature Hi-Fi audio, a dual camera setup on the back, and faster quick charge capabilities. The third and final variant is the high-end model. This is the one that will carry a curved screen along with a dual camera setup in back. Wi-Fi Lite is on board, and there will an extremely zippy quick charge feature.

The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is expected to be unveiled some time during the third quarter, which starts next month. Pricing and availability is unknown at the moment, but we do have a render of the Mi Note 2 that accompanies this story. We expect more leaks of the phablet to surface between now and its unveiling. Check in often!

Thanks for the tip!

camera audio quality are better on moto x play...and almost same battery and i don't have to worry about the screen which is protected with gg3 and scratching the phone coz i can just swap the back( there was scratch on my redmi note 3 once i was mistakenly put in my pocket with a key). For me, its not a downgrade...

Can't comment on Camera but SD650 and SD615 are on different planets, GPU poor, battery life isn't close, no fingerprint scanner. Whatever protection Xiaomi used for the screen it's excellent, no scratches at all. A metal phone will always scratch easier than plastic. I suggest you not buy metal phones at all. Xiaomi cheaper too.

never play games on my phone...so 650 and 615 makes not much sense for me...and i like stock android much better...yes, fingerprint scanner is great...for most people, redmi note 3 may be a better choice, thats why i said 'for me' because they got right in an area that i care, audio quality, camera and simplicity at my budget

battery life is 'close'. difference between 3600mah on stock android and 4000mah on miui is there, but its still better than most smartphone today...

Battery life is not 'close' and the benchmarks prove it. First the SD650 runs mostly on the four A53 cores and only uses the A72 cores for intensive tasks. The SD615 runs on all eight A53 cores most of the time. The extra gig of ram in the Xiaomi also helps. Secondly MIUI battery and app optimizations have a significant effect on the battery life. Stock Android doesn't have the app and task killing features. It's definitely lighter I agree.

maybe benchmark is more reliable than my personal experience when it comes to battery life...

so which is better, 650 or 615? I am considering getting a Moto G4 Plus.

SD650 and SD652 are probably the best chips around right now when it comes to power vs efficiency. They can both handle virtually anything. The power is there when you need it but most of the time you don't. Therefore they're both very battery friendly. Even if you don't game, at some point you may need the processing power and it's nice to know it's available. Unfortunately very few phones have them right now. Only two Xiaomi's and the Sony Xperia X.

I don't know. But I average about 8 hours SOT with my current setup. Some people are getting 10 hours. What do you get with your Motorola?
