LG G3 for T-Mobile caught in the wild, might be launched in June
Just like the older G2, the upcoming LG G3 is expected to be widely available around the world, including in the US, via all major mobile operators. A new set of photos now seemingly confirms that the G3 is headed to T-Mobile USA carrying the model number D851 (this was spotted at the FCC a few days ago).

The photos show the G3 D851 in a protective case. According to TmoNews, the LG G3 may become available at T-Mobile starting mid to late June (for an unknown price). This makes perfect sense, as the handset will be officially presented to the world on May 27.

@evleaks also has some images of what he calls the LG G3 Developer Edition for T-Mobile (meaning that it should have an unlockable bootloader). Once again, the handset is protected by a bulky case. Anyway, the G3 appeared in a lot of photos until now, so we already know what it looks like - from all angles.

As previously reported, the LG G3 sports a 5.5-inch IPS display with 1,440 x 2,560 pixels, and runs Android 4.4 KitKat. Other features include a 13MP rear camera (apparently with “laser focus”), a quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage space, microSD card support, and a removable 3,000 mAh battery.

I don't know if it's because of the hideous case, but this phone looks quite different from previous leaks...

I hope it's that case... Cuz the G3 is a really nice looking phone. A bit big for my preference, but definitely pretty.

Agreed. It is too big. On another note, pun intended, the softkey buttons actually sports a multitasking key!

Pictures look like a test mule, not the final phone design.

If the Oppo Find 7 vs 7a is any indication on graphics performance, I wish LG would have waited a little for the 805. The Adreno 420 is a monster. Much better suited for 2K display phones.

As it is now, rumor has it that the 805 won't ship until fall. Hopefully we will see a horde of QHD 805-based phones competing against the iPhone 6 in the fall.

Love that new LG UI! I don't like the UI in the G2. But, the UI has improved much now in the G3 :)

How come articles don't mention this phone has wireless charging? The fcc filling shows it does.

Seeing as the G2 does, I doubt they'd leave that feature out.

Is this G3 actually specifically for T-Mobile, or is just running on a T-Mobile SIM?

It's just a hardware prototype. The casing isn't the production body.
