Nothing is cooking a new headphone model, and I might be willing to swap my AirPods Max for it. According to the latest leak, the company is working on a Nothing Hedphone 1 successor with the "Pro" moniker in the name.

The rumor comes from Dealabs and suggests that the Nothing Headphone Pro will sport some neat upgrades compared to the original Nothing Headphone 1. For starters, the 40 mm dynamic driver of the original model is expected to be upgraded to a triple-driver setup.
This alone could make the Nothing Headphone Pro sound much better than the first model, handling bass, mids, and high frequencies separately. The AirPods Max, for reference, has only two drivers per cup.
The report also mentions LDAC compatibility in both wired and wireless modes. The upcoming Nothing Headphone Pro could also support spatial audio with head tracking, a Flat EQ feature, and audiophile tuning by Metropolis Studios.

The French site also mentions an upgrade to the active noise cancellation. The new model will reportedly sport 10 microphones, up from 6 on the Nothing Headphone 1. This could have a huge impact on the level and quality of ANC.

The original Nothing Headphone 1 already has a pretty decent ANC, aided by the over-ear design, but this upgrade could pit the new Nothing Headphone Pro against behemots like Sony.
Battery life is also expected to be better reaching up to 60 hours on a single charge, I assume with ANC off.

Materials: Aluminum shell, combined with scratch-resistant glass, IP52 against dust and splashing water.
Price, colors, and potential launch date
The extensive report also describes the colors, price, and potential release date for these Pro headphones by Nothing. According to the site, the model will start at €349 in Europe and $399 in the USA. There will be two color options available, black and white, both using aluminum as a built material.
The Nothing Headphone Pro is expected to officially debut around September 29th. Given that Nothing likes to start teasing new products pretty early on, and we haven't heard anything about a new pair of headphones yet, we should take this leak with the proverbial grain of salt.
